GrootSwem 2024
In a huge splash for a great cause, we recently held our third GrootSwem event, proudly partnered with KingPrice. An incredible 16 swimmers braved the 11-degree waters, conquering the 7.5km crossing from Robben Island to Bloubergstrand. Our collective effort brought in a fantastic R428,000 to provide meals for children in need. Amongst these dedicated participants were some notable names, including King Price’s Head of Culture, Marno Boshoff, Studio Malvah Founder, Tim Evans, two-time Ironman 70.3 Overall AG winner, Hanni van Wyk, and even our very own Founder, Org van der Wath.
On Sunday, the 19th of November, five dedicated cyclists from Kruik Gemeente took on the challenge of cycling 97km to make a difference! Three of them fearlessly conquered the hills of Jan Smuts Drive on single-speed bikes – all for a great cause:
