This program focuses on early detection of stunting in children. Stunting refers to below-average height for a child’s age.
We take monthly height measurements and record them in our specialized data capture software. We then use a dedicated program to analyze this data against the World Health Organization’s (WHO) growth curve chart. This analysis reveals the child’s standard deviation (a measure of how far their height falls from the average) and identifies potential risks of stunting.
This approach allows for early intervention to address potential causes of stunting and promote healthy growth in children.
